Owner of the C.A.R.E. Health and Wellness Center. He graduated Magna Cum-Laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic and has extensive knowledge of human biomechanics as he has earned his degree in Kinesiological Sciences from the University of Maryland
He is also a professor at Norwalk Community College where he teaches anatomy and physiology to pre-nursing students and other pre-health care professionals. This experience has heightened his profound understanding of the human body and its functional capacities.
Dr. Heyliger is also certified in Acupuncture, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has experience working with professional and collegiate athletes rehabilitating sport related injuries. He also has years of experience at Stamford Hospital’s Health and Fitness Institute located in the Tully Health Center as a Fitness Specialist and is a certified personal trainer. There he has formed many relationships with other health care professionals that he often collaborates with to optimize patient care.
Certified member of the Connecticut Chiropractic Association, New York Chiropractic Association, and American Chiropractic Association. He has also earned his Diplomate from the American Academy of Medical Legal Professionals and has expanded his expertise in medical legal cases.
